OSMOSIS
A behavioral progression codex.
Level 0 to 100 through measured, non-negotiable execution. Data over feelings. Action over intention. Discipline over comfort. Honest about the brutal part.
Every tracker you've used has lied to you.
They celebrated you for showing up. They let you skip days. They froze your streak when you asked. They made discipline feel like a feature, not a practice.
The data told a different story. Your lowest stat was the one you never touched. Your easy wins hid your hard avoidances. A ninety-day streak meant you were consistent — not that you were growing.
Osmosis doesn't negotiate. It does not celebrate you. It does not ask how you feel. It watches what you do, names the pattern, and calibrates tomorrow accordingly. That is the entire product.
Eight stats. Five slots. One Analyst.
Osmosis turns your day into a measured progression system. Every action has a difficulty, a proof requirement, and a quality score. Every day fills exactly five slots across physical, skill, mind, creative, and maintenance work.
Over time, eight core stats grow from your output and decay from your absence. A level curve marks the path from Level 0 to Level 100 over roughly one year. A cold observer called the Analyst reads your log and tells you the truth.
“You logged 12 minutes of a 60-minute quest. Quality: 0.3. That's not discipline. That's theater.”
How the system thinks.
Four mechanics run the entire product. Everything else is plumbing.
The Five-Slot Day
Every day, exactly five named slots. The manifest locks at generation and cannot be regenerated. Weak points and penalty quests fill slots first. You cannot escape weakness by piling on easy wins.
XP Math
XP earned per quest is a deterministic function. No hidden modifiers. No gifts.
Stat Decay
Absence erases growth. Discipline at 60, seven days untouched, falls to roughly 49. A week of slacking undoes a month of progress. The system assumes silence means failure.
The Ladder
Missed quests accumulate within rolling seven-day windows. The system escalates, automatically, without being asked.
Silence is the highest form of respect.
The Analyst is not a coach, not a friend, and not a cheerleader. It is a cold observer with a clipboard who has read every line of your log. It speaks rarely and precisely. It does not motivate, praise, or console. It names what the data shows.
When you execute, the system says nothing. When you slip, it notices immediately. That is the entire philosophy.
Does
- State observable facts from your data
- Name patterns with specific numbers
- Reference past commitments you made
- Speak rarely, precisely, once
- Acknowledge milestones and move on
Does Not
- Motivate, praise, or encourage
- Use exclamation marks, emoji, or metaphors
- Guess, infer, or sympathize
- Fill silence with noise
- Celebrate
“Week 14. Discipline 58 (+2). Focus 41 (−4). Knowledge 67 (+1). Focus declined for the third week running. At current pace, Level 100 ETA is fourteen months — last month it was eleven.”
Where the project stands.
This is an operator's log, not a marketing page. Osmosis is pre-launch. The design spec is complete. A manual MVP is running now as the first dogfood phase. Production code has not been written.
